From the very first morning she woke up in Bogota, Irini roamed outside, was assisted down the step, and found her way to the bedroom with the cousins! TTmouz (Pimo) and Avi were waiting for her to play with vigor and enthusiasm. The three of them quickly became good friends, with Irini following them around the house, emulating their behaviors and helping with the chores.
They, in turn, loved her completely. They were happy as can be playing with her, talking to her, showing how things work. The adults generally watched with a smile, and provided a few pointers to the older ones on how best to deal with a toddler.
When Pimo was sick one day, little Irini crawled into bed with him and hugged him so he could feel better. When she wanted to eat. Avi would pick her up and put her on her lap and help with the feeding. When they were outside, Pimo would run around the trees and run right back to her, stopping just short of her face. She giggled in anticipation and sheer joy. When their birthday's were celebrated on the same day with two simultaneous parties, Irini roamed outside behind the house and followed both boys and girls around while they played games and took part in the scavenger hunt. She was one of the gang!
