Amalia's New Digs

The girls are a-growin'. Little can be done to hold them back now. Whether it's their physical size (and the relative smallness of their beds) or their ability to talk and write and read they are impressing us with each and every passing moment.

Amalia's class and teacher is the same as the one that Irini had in her grade. It doesn't matter, though, that this is the same class as her sister's. Apart from already knowing her teacher, there is little doubt in anyone's mind that this is "her" class. She does things her way and with gusto. She is taking bold steps in taking on the world and we love her for it!  Among other things she can write the alphabet, count out loud to 110 and read basic words. She does a lot of pretending to read too, especially when her sister is doing her own reading. Leaps and bounds. Love and smiles. Everything in between.
