You know? The parents walk around and chat and talk about life and politics and work and all that fun stuff.... but one look over to the other side and you'll see giggling (or sometimes not so giggling) girls playing, jumping around, screaming (much to the parent's chagrin at times), playing and making great connections! So, no matter whether we were roaming the monasteries or through the olive groves it was the girls connecting, really, that was the most rewarding part. The essence of life, parents quickly find out, is the value their children place in growing, learning and making friendships. We can't be happier with our children, who they are and who their becoming and, of course, their friends. May your life be filled with laughter, friendship and positive relationships. :-)
