When you have a completely adorable little one that is turning two, you realize that there are different ways to celebrate her birthday. Nothing fancy, mind you, but just a different approach. This year Amalia's birthday was a two-day affair. The first of the two days, on her actual birthday, we celebrated in a small family affair. Tia, Avi and TTMouz were there, of course, as were Scott and Rebecca. The night was celebrated with a good meal followed by opening the presents. Okay, fine. Opening the presents interspersed with a bit of meal eating. The favorite presents were two small stuffed animals - cats - aptly named Lala (for Irini) and Gaira (for Amalia) after the real cats at Tia's house :-)
The gang was happy and carrot cake was served in a "My Little Pony" theme, light blue topping and lots of jelly beans which took much longer to put on the cake than to actually devour. It was as yummy as it was fun to make and Amalia and Irini both happily shared presents and smiles. Happy birthday little beauty!! We love you!
