The day after the birthday we did it all again! Only this time it was down in the pool, with friends and family and all that stuff. It was a great morning with nothing but running around, giggling away, chasing each other and tearing open presents and the like. When the water cannon thingamajigers came out it was even more exciting. Amalia decided that she loved the pool and refused to come out until it was time for the cake. Unlike her sister, Amalia loved the attention (is that a typical second child thing?) and even tried to sing along as best as she could. Perhaps more impressive was her ability to blow out the candles all by herself, as you can see in the video below.
By the end of the party, as the last people waved bye bye and we were picking up the leftovers we couldn't help but think how fortunate we are to have such a great community. We really are lucky people. Happy Day Amalia! We love you!
